We have been using this product for like 15 years now and there is a lot of old and dead data that we cannot delete due to referential integrity issues. Will there ever be any type of archive and purge utility to delete out say anything that is more than X number of years old that would then clean up and reindex the database for better maint and speed?
We have been using JobBoss for 24 years. We are running on an SQL as well but it is a lot of data. Wish we could archive data and get it out of the main database.
Likewise. We have at least 15 years worth of data. Some data should be purged. For example, we now have many times more "Inactive" employees than we do "Active". Why can an employee record not be deleted.
That's just one example. Another is Obsoleted inventory part numbers.
Jobs too should be "Archivable" to get them out of our database.
True, MS SQL can hold many millions of records, but, why can't we archive records to an alternate Db.
