A lot of shops have dual screen setups. It would be very beneficial to be able to set up a Job Entry screen, Material Screen, and/or a Raw Stock screen side by side.

I'm all for it, when is it going to be implemented? It would be very helpful, I think JB is lagging behind the competition. These comments are old below Oct. 2019?
Having dual ( or more ) monitors has become very common. This suggestion would be very helpful. Being able to look at multiple modules at the same time would facilitate copy/paste operations.
I too utilize the 2 instance workaround. However, be aware that any changes made in one will NOT reflect until refreshed on the other. Also, if working on a linked item, there is an issue of losing data if not saved correctly..
We are using the same method as Oscar Salazar by opening the JobBOSS application twice, then logging in to both. I can confirm that it only uses 1 license.
as a workaround, you can actually open two instances of jobboss and display them side-by-side. the results are much nicer in v12.0 but this also works in previous versions
Suggestion: Open JobBoss application twice, enter same credentials on both and place either side by side or one on each monitor. It should still only use one license.
The ability to open, or just view, more than one of anything would be helpful. For example, when purchasing, you sometimes you want to view a previous order for certain details, and not directly copy it. Rather than having to print it, even with a single monitor, the ability to have multiple instances open would be great, as long as the windows can be sized, One of my biggest complaints about JB has always been it's inability to act like typical windows programs, remembering user preferences like size and column positions and sorts. I believe changing that alone would make lots of folks happy.
Having ShopBOSS on one screen and ShopView or Order Entry on the other would be very helpful as well. Essentially, it would be very helpful to have the ability for each module and reporting to open in it's own window per user preference.
Likewise, the JobBoss interface really only utilizes 50% of the screen real estate that I have available on a single monitor. It would be nice if you could open two quotes at once within the same JobBoss window and compare them side by side. Or two jobs, or a job and a quote... you get the idea. Often times I find myself wanting to look at a quote and a current job at the same time.

I agree with Kellie Simcic - that was back in 2020
What exactly does “Developed” mean? How do we access this function?

The most recent JobBOSS version will include this -- I believe we need to wait for it to be officially released for download.
This is developed?
How do I get to utilize it?

Chad, it has not been implemented yet. We are all anxiously waiting for that day to come though..
When can we see this idea implemented? I see it was created a year ago and is the most voted for idea on this support page. Did I miss the update?
