There are times where purchased items can be bought under many different part numbers depending on manufacturers, specs, etc.  Currently you have to search all items separately. It would be very helpful to have the ability to identify alternate part numbers within the material master so that the different numbers are identified without having to do multiple searches all the time, or potentially miss items you have in inventory because you don't know about the alternate.

The way raw stock handles alternate sizes seems like a really good way to handle this concept, especially being able to change out the material on the fly in Job Entry.
