The Spread format income statement is useful to view historical trends. However, the report is extremely difficult to use or of little value when a new fiscal year begins. My idea is this: A "Trailing 12 Month" income statement format. The user should be able to enter any period or period end date and the resulting income statement report should generate starting with the period entered and the previous 11 months.
