Remove Auto Picking Finished Goods from On Hand Stock

When "Auto Pick Finished Goods when parts are shipped" preference is checked, it will automatically pull whatever your On Hand Stock qty of that finished good is onto the pack list from sales order, even if a job is linked to the SO line. It also just completely disregards the fact that you just buit qty's on that linked job and doesn't put them on the pack list, OR back into On Hand Stock. From what JobBoss has told me, the only way you can actually have finished goodS inventory recorded in JobBoss is if you manually transfer the parts from the job and pick it to the sales order. If the Auto Picking button is checked, there should be  a way in which you are presented with the option to pick from parts from stock if the system shows there are any OR from the linked Job on the SO that a packlist is being create for. Does not make sense to build jobs if it will just automatically pick from stock and act like the job does not exist. Unable to keep finished goods inventory count in jobboss because of this.

    This would resolve the issue of manually entering or removing parts from our current Excel spreadsheet, which is very labour intensive.

    This is an issue we face every day; JobBOSS is a very comprehensive ERP package, having to manage our finished goods through an independent excel sheet is counter productive and time consuming. It would be VERY helpful if it was corrected.

    Maintaining finished goods inventory in our ERP system is the most efficient way to manage it. We shouldn't need to track it in a separate application. Please make this change.

    Having finished goods updated using JobBoss would make our process of managing finished goods more accurate and efficient.

    As Chris mentioned, an Excel spreadsheet is an ineffective way of managing finished inventory. Being able to have this functionality in JobBoss would be a much more efficient way and a great help to our team. Please make this change asap.

    100%! The way this is currently set up doesn't allow our shop to manage our finished goods inventory in JobBoss. We are forced to use an Excel spreadsheet. It would be much better to make this change.
