Thank you for your idea! Although we will not be implementing additional types right now, there is another similar request for adding a notes field for payroll time entry. If implemented, the notes field can be used for showing additional reasons for the time entry. We are looking forward to hearing more from you soon!
Please reconsider this as an option. This would be way more helpful than having a notes section.
so, it has been 5 years and a couple of releases. Why can't this be added to a table created map located in the Preferences under the User Defined area. We could move to the Attendence module of JobBoss if the feature was expanded or corrected.
Definite need for JobBoss to add custom attendance types. Why these were ever "set" fields is beyond me?!? It is almost like a non-HR/Payroll expert was not consulted.
My company changed to PTO instead of using sick and vacation. I would like to see these types changed.Or let each Company change the fields to their company work place requirement.

Critical Illness Leave
Personal Emergency Leave
Bereavement Leave
It is unbelievable that such a basic function hasn't been corrected yet.
A lot of companies have changed to PTO instead of sick leave and vacation. So having the current fixed options in type does not really reflect the current reality of how people communicate in the work place
