Travelers / jobs need a place to communicate DPAS ITAR ect with everyone

It would be very nice to have check boxes when you open a job if they need any of the following ☐ Material Certs ☐ Process Certs ☐ C of C’s ☐ Inspection Reports ☐ PPAP ☐ No special QC Requirements ☐ DPAS _________ ☐ Source Inspection. This should also print on the traveler and be used as communication tool to make sure all requirements and standards are met for customers and contract.

    I totally agree that an area for DPAS ratings that would show up on POs would be ideal.

    We do something similar to what you are trying to do with a router step for material:

    Verify material requirements and certs.

    Required material alloy / Type_______________________________

    Required Specification_____________________________

    P.O.# ______________________ Heat or Item#______________________

    ***************************************************************************************************

    DO NOT PROCEED WITH PRODUCTION IF THIS SECTION IS NOT COMPLETED

    UNLESS DIRECTED BY UPPER MANAGEMENT

    ***************************************************************************************************


    You could create a router step for your check boxes, and use it as your first step.
