Enable Workstation driver to have a ShopBOSS schedule view that allows them to see all jobs in a particular Workcenter(s) to be able to see work that they have after they accomplish their existing job.

Our shop has one scheduler/Plant Manager who establishes the schedule for the following weeks. In our old system (an Excel Spreadsheet that was updated daily), Each Cell lead (foreman) could open the schedule on their computer to see their weekly tasks, open & print travelers since they were linked to the job, & update the job status. This allowed them to quickly & easily determine what other cells are working on the same final job to better determine if their parts are delayed by another cell.

We purchased the ShopBOSS module, but the major drawback that we couldn't get past was that you need a full seat of JobBOSS to view the schedule. We like to keep our production cells independent so that they can print their own travelers & blue prints from the system. Right now we have to print them out in the office, walk these copies out to the production floor to the Cell Lead. If there are any updates to the traveler then this has to be repeated for each Job. From a LEAN manufacturing point of view this a lot of wasted energy when they already have Workstation driver at their fingertips.
