We are currently seeing a large number of Raw Material Surcharges (RMS) and if you enter this amount in as an Additional Charge it does not get applied to the Last or Average Cost of that material. We have work arounds in place but when we get invoiced from the vendor this RMS is shown as a seperate line and if Accounting applies the cost as shown on the invoice and then has shows the amount of the RMS it can reset the Last Cost and in some situations the Average Cost.
