Larger field for "Job"

Kinemotive extensively uses the tree structure of jobs. Legacy naming has encoded the job levels into the job names. The 10 digits of job naming is sufficient, but not if you want to track individual production releases in JobBoss. This makes tracking of individual production kits impossible with Jobboss tools. If there were 15 or 20 digits in a Job name then it could save a lot of headaches and development on our part.

    With JobBOSS 2018, you can now have field length characters of up to 30 for Job ID!!!

     

    Additionally, on JobBOSS 2018, we have extended the following field lengths:

    • Quote ID (30 characters)
    • Quote Assembly ID (20 characters)
    • Sales Order ID (30 characters)
    • Sales Order Line (10 characters)

    30 CHARACTERS IS NOT ENOUGH! MAKE FIELD UNLIMITED.
