We have a pre-process change on materials where we need to convert Raw stock into a different unique raw stock depending on the process. This is when we take the metal bars and heat treat them according to the specified method. JobBoss does not allow us to buy this Heat Treated ID because it is set to as raw stock. But it is raw stock but a converted one. As such, we waste time by creating a round about job and have to manually update the amount that left one Raw stock ID and on arrival add it to the unique ID of Raw. As the system doesn't allow entry for Raw on unique Raw. This causes accounting and material handler time to make sure these transactions happen correctly. Might reconsider a different ERP that can handle these transactions as a baseline as this causes many inconsistencies in the system. Required for quality and customer demands.
