We were told that we needed to clear out the shift associated with inactive employees in order for them to not show up in the attendance screen.  The result is we lose data so that unneeded records will be filtered out.  Doing so makes the attendance screen easier to use.  Just don't feel that there should be a trade off.  We should be able to retain the shift info for an inactive employee AND have relevant records show in the attendance screen
